The other comments seem odd with no real opinion of the company. I had a short encounter with this company but it sure left an impression. Kind of long story but worth reading. Me and my wife were ready to begin renting a lot and purchasing a mobile home from this company and the owner whom they were managing for. The property was for sale for $30,000 total and they wanted $2,500 down. The lot rent was about $430. We were approved and reviewing our contract when I seen the owner wanted 12% interest and a contract that carried 20 years with $3,000 down now. After doing the math, it would have totaled to over $70,000 for the mobile home. We figured we would just pay it off a lot sooner than expected to so we went to notarize some papers. When we tried to notarize one specific paper, we noticed it wasn't for us to sign, but for a man named BENJAMIN W. SHOVAL. The notary immediately recognized the name and told us to research him before finalizing anything. We figured that was odd to hear so we did our research and learned this man had a deceptive and devious back story. In short, he is an arrogant man who seems to be no stranger to a court room (two cases which he was being accused charging unlawfully high interest rates to fraud, unjust enrichment and undue influence in a residential lease-purchase contract.) When i tried to talk to Dedicated Realty personnel about their relationship with Ben and why they handed me that page to get notarized... They immediately said it wasn't important, asked me if I could make the down payment before the end of the day and said we'd sort out all the paper work the next day. I encourage anybody to google BENJAMIN W. SHOVAL YAKIMA HERALD and understand the man this company tried to represent.
