For a professional accounting firm I was very disappointed with my service. Constantly having to call to check on status of tax prep only to find they had misplaced documents (but didn't call to inform me) and they don't even guarantee their own work as they make you sign a document AFTER the tax prep is finally complete that they will work with you (for a fee) if you are audited but otherwise all mistakes or errors are your responsibility. Additionally I had to specifically request direct deposit because they thought that people actually want to wait 6-8 weeks for a check via snail mail. You meet with an 'accountant' once for the initial data prep but everything else including final signing you don't even get past the receptionist (who is usually a temp). 2 weeks for a fairly basic tax prep, I'll use H&R Block before I ever use their services again (and that's not saying much).
