University Place Pierce County Library

I grew up in the era of the card catalog and talking only in whispers. There aren’t a lot of books available at this library because people read books online. This library is doing an excellent job of providing an atmosphere for the next generation of readers. Yes, the young people come there and do their homework AND SOCIALIZE! They talk to one another rather then through some electronic device. The library is asking a lot from the staff and it’s understandable that they may be a little stressed at times. This is the library of the future. EMBRACE IT!
