Great quality ingredients in dishes but in an atmosphere that makes me feel comfortable and relaxed, which just so happens to be my favorite kind of restaurant. This is a great place to bring a friend or maybe parents or sis, casual date night, etc. Pricing is very fair. There is a 5 percent surcharge for the chefs in the back to share, but I actually think that's a smart idea, since good food is what we all dine out for. Keep the good cooks happy so they will stay, right? The wait staff is attentive and very friendly. I have been here twice. The first time I had grilled salmon, which was delicious, and the second time just recently I had the cajun chicken tacos, which had a nice heat and tasty flavors.
The restaurant itself is a cozy place, and service has always been friendly; I used to go here all the time, the sandwiches were always very good. But recently the overall quality has declined. They seem to randomly be closed by 7:30pm some nights. One time we went in a little after 8 and were told that the cook had left so they couldn't serve any more food that night. I'm not sure if ownership has changed but something has within the past year to make me not as interested as I used to be.
