I went here after realizing that my barber shop, supernova, was booked, and I was in dire need of a haircut. This place does not except credit or debit to start, so I had to go to the bank before being able to come back and get a cut. When I came back, aside from the initial hello, the lady did not say a word to me throughout my entire haircut. She was cold. The atmosphere was not that great, as there was a louldly playing cooking show on in the background. Also she had me faced away from the mirrors the entire time. She never asked what I wanted with my hair, and I had to suggest showing her a picture of my previous haircut. Also she did not ask or suggest putting any product in my hair. Generally poor customer service and over-all expierence.
The haircut... The haircut was below average at best. She did not entirely ruin my hair, however, it also hasn't looked this bad in a while. I don't know if there is some inate ability of other barbers to make hair look good, but if there is she sure doesn't possess it. She put the part of my hair way to close to the middle of my head. WHO DOSE THAT? This could easily be excused as me not having put enough time into explaining what I wanted, however, I have never had this problem at any other barber... Also I don't think she fully understands the concept of a fade. She left me with uneven layers that I have since haphazardly corrected at home. There was no neck shave or other nice features that you would expect from a decent barber to offset the lack of atmosphere in this place.
The price was only $13. I can't say my expectations were super high. I just wish I would have waited till there wee openings at my usual barber. I will not be attending this business again.
