Everything they've got in this shop is expensive so you would think they are pros, so I ask the owner how much to do a professional set-up on a Fender Strat. Says its $75. I bring it in, say I want black sabbath tuning, he says that is standard tuning, no it is not, so then it winds up being $103 not 75. The E string is too close to the edge so your hand falls off, they said OH that would take more time so we didn't address that" Anyhow my $103 was a waste, Guarantee my next guitar won't be bought here and I won't be bringing it here for setup either.

Beautiful set up job. Took in my telecaster to these guys for a set up. Ive owned it 10 years so it desperately needed another set up job. These guys turned it around quick and the work was great. From my experience with Portland Fret Works and 12th fret in Portland these guys are on par with some of the best shop setups I have had done on my guitars. I will definitely be returning when I need another guitar set up.
