FOOD: Fresh, tasty, often smashed, sometimes missing from delivery
DELIVERY: Fast, sometimes incomplete
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Unresponsive to problems with orders
If you like smashed sandwiches and missing items in your delivery orders, then this might be the Jimmy John's for you. While I've been a long time fan of JJ's and their fast and tasty sandwiches at various locations around Puget Sound, this store can't get my vote. I hadn't been pleased with how frequently my delivery sandwiches arrived smashed (hold the sandwich while slicing, don't crush the sandwich while slicing), I recently received a delivery order with missing items. I'd paid full price online, the items were listed on the printed receipt that was attached to the bag, and I had tipped generously in advance, but the items weren't in the bag (yes, it was still stapled shut). When I emailed JJ's to tell them about the problem, they quickly responded to tell me that they'd notify the store and that it was up to the store to decide whether or not to make it right with me (not impressive, corporate types, but OK). Well, the store has chosen to do nothing. They have my money, why bother making it right with the customer? Google reviews, that's why. I will still enjoy JJ's at other locations, but this store (unless they come out of hibernation and make it right) has lost my business.
