I have had Tingstad as my Orthopedic Surgeon for well over eight years now. He first did an emergency repair of my ankle when I broke it in five places. This was late at night after he returned from a WSU basket ball game where he was the team doctor. Recently, I had a total knee replacement. I was the first scheduled for the day. In pre op he came in and asked if we had any concerns. Then he asked if we would appreciate a prayer which he gave. While in recovery I had to go to ER late night because I developed a bruise on my calf. He offered to come in, but I told him he did not need to come, just to tell me what to do. But the next day, as he was awaiting a plane out of Spokane, he called to see how I was doing. I find Dr. Tingstad a very caring and conscientious professional.
