Would never work with this company by choice. A toddler holds a higher set of morals. Doug Burger is a dishonest man who puts money before truth & integrity. I was living in a residence for 2.5 years when the owner decided she wanted to sell the property in order to invest elsewhere. She offered to sell to me, but my fiancé was in the Navy and I knew we'd be moving within a year. So she hired Doug Burger to sell the home. He called and asked me if he could come over within the following 24-48 hours to "see what I'll be selling." I was trying to accommodate him and told him since he had a key/lockbox that he could come over the following day while I was at work. I warned him it was kinda messy and in no condition to take photos for showing or anything, and he said he did't need pics at this point. Ok, come on over tomorrow, sir.
I got a call from the management company the next day explaining that he called the owner of the property, and informed her that I was "destroying the property." They questioned this as I had NO troubles with them in the past. I sent them pictures of the residence in the condition it was in when he viewed it, and we had a good laugh at his ridiculous claims. (See attached photos.) NO dishes out, no mold, no food left out, no damage to ANYTHING. Bathrooms clean. My bedroom had clothes on the floor too. But I WARNED HIM OF THIS. And Sir, I PAY RENT HERE NOW. I called Mr. Burger back at the number he used to contact me the previous day. I asked him why he told the owner I was "destroying" the property. He denied it. He backtracked on some things as was caught off guard by me contacting him.
Had he asked me to clean so he could take pictures, I would've told him to give me an extra day and I would've politely obliged. Would never work with this company by choice. He informed me that Doug Berger said the following about me, "She looks good, but she's a real pig." The fact that he commented on my looks is disgusting.
I was asked to move out 20 days later (right at the end of my lease.) And for "destroying the property," it's a gosh darn miracle I got 100% of my deposit back, even with a pet.
