In all honesty this is my favorite campsite I've stayed at. There isn't much aside from some smelly porta potties scattered through the campsite but the location completely makes up for it. Campsite is next to a big creek, with walking paths nearby. I believe there are paths where horses are welcome as well as ones for off road vehicles (but you should double check on this). Campsites themselves are private and well sperated from each other, campfires were allowed when I was there and you can collect wood from the surrounding forest (although you may have to venture out in order to collect a good stash). This will definitely be a destination for me the next time I'm in the Northwest!
Wow! Usually campgrounds are not my first choice but this place was epic! Very peaceful and quite. It’s also free. Made me proud to know my tax dollars help support this hidden gem.
