If I could give this business a proper rating, I would give them 0 stars. This is a poorly ran company. Staff are incredibly rude, and the owner is extremely condescending. It cost me 1000 dollars to move in and was told the pro rated rate would be 2 hundred dollars less than what I was told before I got the keys. I was charged a late fee when the 5th fell on a Sunday. I was told when I paid the rent, that it wasn't their problem. "It's not our problem" is their go to phrase with anything. I had black mold growing in the bathroom, again being told it wasn't their problem. They don't get back to you when you try to contact them when it pertains to important stuff. Unless you're hard up on finding a place to live , save yourself the trouble. They will take your money though. My boyfriend moved in and took over the groundskeep position. He had to miss work on several occasions to meet with the secretary who insisted that the groundskeep position was our livelihood.. not his job that he works 12 hours, 6 days a week. We were recently released at groundskeep due to.. no idea. The owner did a walkthrough with us and told us to wait to do the lawn in spring time. We consistently had to clean other tenants junk, dirty needles, blood, from laundry rooms and by dumpsters. The owner was supposed to give us proper lawn tools to use, never did. How were we supposed to do anything with broken equipment? We tried to contact them on several occasions regarding work orders, never received a call back once. This is a poorly operated business. We are looking to move. We cannot handle the stresses that this place brings us, plus the religious discrimination. Been trying to post pictures of the deplorable conditions that APR keeps the property in. Won't post but one photo that barely shows damages to the wood that is holding the upstairs in place. There is water damages on the apartment themselves as well. Tried to express this to the owner, but he will not listen and instead gets extremely defensive and hangs up the phone in mid conversation. The property at 934, 928 8th Ave is in ruin. It is unsafe for small children. This place could be extremely beautiful if the owner wasn't such a slum.
