If you like Leavenworth, or you want to go for the first time, this is a great place to stay! It is not in downtown, and it is on the lake, so you don't have to worry about any of the noise or traffic. I would advise driving into town, but I'm lazy, and enjoy not having to deal with all of the tourists at once. The rooms are cozy and just the right size for a nice getaway, be it short or longer. There's a pathway to the river that literally puts you right on the riverfront, watching people float down the river on tours and see the occasional Osprey fishing. The place recently got a new owner I'm told, and it is no longer a bed and breakfast, but an inn. I wasn't going to lose sleep over that, the whole area is crawling with places to eat, even more if you're willing to do some sight seeing and continue on to Wenatchee. Go here and get away from it all, and enjoy the benefits of a Bavarian town, at the end of the day, you'll relax at the quiet, serene part of the area.
Not a bed and breakfast. New management. Nice place to stay. Would stay again and recommend to others.
