I started my career as a bank teller in the early 80's, in my hometown Anchorage, Alaska & left the industry after 11 years and I miss the industry & home very much. First arriving in Wash., I worked at a Bank which shall remain lifeless due to how "Horrible & Heartless" they were to their employees but first and formost the personal & business customers. All they cared about was the almighty dollar, "Period"! So of coarse that left a lasting impression, and continued to use my bank in Alaska, untillllll.... My dad, who I had the honor of taking care of had to open a bank accent, well several actually and asked me to be his P.O.A.... O didn't want to deal with any of them! So, we went to "CHASE BANK". BUT, when I pushed him into the lobby , WHAM!!! We were "Immediately" Welcomed and asked how we were first, then how many they help us and so on it went!! I was so overly impressed with the Personal Banker Teri at the Fred Meyer Branch by
Fruitvale Blvd in Yakima, I still to this day couldn't thank her enough.. The "Respect, Thoughtfulness, Warm, and Caring Way" she treated my father, well there are no words actually. He himself, being a Veteran of the Army, Police Officer, and Firefighter in Alaska was a VERY Prideful Strong Man having to sercom to Parkinson's Disease. And let me tell you, before we went into that Branch of "CHASE BANK", he was in a Very solem mood... But After, he wanted to actually go and have lunch with me, then he wanted ice cream afterwards!!!
Also, I hadn't had a bank account in countless years because of my very messy divorce years before, and o walked out on all of his accounts, and Teri opened up one for me as well in which I Still have.
**On another, and last note**
I wanted to thank CHASE for taking care of ALL of my dads needs until the day he passed away. And I wanted to say the biggest thank you and God Bless to that Personal Banker Teri for treating my dad like everyone should be treated, "A Human Being"! Almost everyone, other than her, are Always in such an all fired hurry to get all of their needs met, and forget that there's actually another warm blooded human being right next to them that might just need a simple smile or a friendly hello to make their day.. Teri understood that.. Thank you so much for that, and thank you CHASE for being a Bank I can depend on
