I have received hundreds of packages over the past 8 years at PMAP. It's irritating that we have to bring cash for payment. Up until last year, every package was received with a manual hand-written process, and they had lost some packages or couldn't find them for days. They implemented a new system where packages were scanned and tracked, which made their retrieval easier, and I stayed with them hoping things would improve. However... I have been there multiple times where only one person was working there, and they blame that people are sick or didn't show up for work. You'd think the owners would have back-ups in place or even go in themselves in these situations. I have left after waiting a long time for my packages, and had to return the following day, which is very frustrating since it's not a quick trip to get there. For me, it's a 45 minute drive including crossing the border. Not trivial. Today, my husband waited in line for 1.5 hours, in a 15-person lineup (including him). And many more arrived after him. The person at the counter once again blamed their coworker for not showing up to work (like we care what the reason is), and my husband stood in line watching as 14 people in front of him slowly received their Christmas packages over 1.5 hours. That's an average of 6 minutes per person. It should not take that long. We are fed up with their lolly-gagging and 'pass the blame' attitude, and will not go back.
How does this place not have a credit or debit machine??? They pride themselves on being Canadian owned and their customers are mostly Canadian, yet they expect you to go to a Bank or spend $3 US at an ATM across the street first. Unbelievable. Hagen’s in Blaine is way better and with the times. Will never come here again.
