When I traveled to WA from Massachusetts to have Dr Mashoof do my dental work I had alot of admiration for his accomplishments and reputation. I told many people how great he is as a dentist ..... but now I feel almost guilty for doing so and responsible to tell the truth of what happened to me. Before I do this I will say this.....I recently called the dental board to check on Dr Mashoof's license. I discovered that he has a complaint against his license and is presently working on a restricted license. Since I have tried again and again to contact Dr Mashoof to resolve my issue (not wanting to hurt him/file a complaint). And he refuses to respond to me.....Soon there will be another complaint on file with the dental board. I have learned....that no matter how good a dentist seems in their advertising ..... one should ALWAYS contact the dental board to check on their license before going to a new dentist for treatment. I had a full mouth restoration (all teeth crowned). Dr Mashoof put on temporaries and left them on for a year....again and again putting off my appointments. Finally I went to a professor of WA University and had full mouth Xrays to check the state of my teeth. There was extensive decay under Dr M's office made temporaries. The comment made at that time was (when I saw those Xrays I wanted to throw up) To date 4 of those teeth have been lost due to this decay. I traveled to WA to work with Dr Mashoof thinking that I was doing the best thing for my health......instead - my dental health was devastated. Please call the dental board and check before making your decision to proceed in his direction!
The clinic's team is very professional and friendly. Dr. Mashoof was able to identify cavities ignored by my previous dentists on one hand while recommending to avoid unnecessary procedures on the other. I Love the work he did on my teeth!
