Before purchasing a vehicle I made sure it had all required maintenance from a reputable shop, the shop was Dave's valley auto clinic. Approximately 2k worth of work done by the dealer at Dave's has all gone bad. I returned to the shop to have them look at it, they agree it shouldn't have gone bad yet, but refuse to do anything about it since it was done for a dealer and not me so they only warranty the work for 90 days. This means I'm stuck with a hefty repair bill on a truck that should have run for many more miles on repairs that had already been done at Dave's. They will not do what's right, they will do what makes them (and dealers) money at the expense of the average person. In response to the owners comments: The repair in question was not just the ball joints, that was simply the only one I felt I could actually get any movement on. The service included an AC condenser replacement, which the AC went out less than 6 months after getting the truck, but that I cannot prove was against the shop, but I feel it is likely, an oil change, ball joint replacement, my main concern, and a front crank seal, which the engine is again leaking oil from the front of the engine. All of this while you pointed out the date, you did not point out the mileage which was less than 15k miles. All of which were highway miles. For you to characterize the truck as "Highly modified" is also incorrect. The truck has a tow leveling kit on it, which was on it at the time your shop serviced it, and has not been changed since. For you to also claim it has seen a lot of abuse is false since it has only been on the highway since your shop serviced the vehicle. I also object to your characterization of me as attempting to "strong arm" your shop into fixing the truck for free, when I asked what you would do since the ball joints you replaced, which are at least a 100k mile part, were bad, according to Les Schwab and your shop, in less than 15k miles. When I was told nothing would be done about it I did not attempt to force your shop into doing anything and used the only recourse available to me in social media leaving your shop a bad review. I attempted to address my concerns in person at your shop civilly, and was told you would do nothing about it. If you would like to change that please let me know.
