The city keeps the gate locked. No recent upkeep. Access to the beach is cordoned off. It is still listed on the city park website but, looks to be abandoned as a park site. The streets all around the overlook have NO PARKING, or LOCAL RESIDENT PARKING ONLY SIGNS. So, even if it was open, you'd have to walk there.
