New to White Pass this winter (2016-2017), there is a cozy little cafe in the new warming hut yurt next to the Nordic Center yurt. They are still getting started and figuring out their menu, but it's clear they are leaning toward healty and unique offerings that will make you want to leave your cold sandwiches at home. So far they have provided waffles with all the trimmings, chili, vegetarian lentil stew, and baked potatoes, both fully stuffed and plain with butter, not to mention all the usual tea, coffee, and hot cocoa that you expect in a warming hut. It's a charming place with the potential to turn you into a Nordic skier.
