Varsity Pizza

The pizza here is very hit or miss. When it’s a ‘hit’, it’s awesome! Their pizza crust and sauce are really good. Unfortunately, it’s more often a ‘miss’. The last couple of pizzas we got had huge bubbles in them, which causes the cheese and toppings to run and then gets over cooked. This place is also more expensive than other pizza places, which makes the ‘misses’ harder to forgive. Almost $20 (with the tax) for a plain cheese pizza. I would rather spend that at a restaurant where I know I’m getting a consistently good pie every time.

I’ve had a few issues with this location, saying they don’t deliver to my address or losing our order and then laughing at me when I call to ask where it is and they never put it in. However, tonight is the last straw. I googled this location and looked at the website to figure out what I wanted to order, I hit the call button on the website and ordered my food. 45 minutes later I get a call stating that I called the other location in Mckenna instead, I explained that I did so from the website. The guy said it’s happened before, although by the time they caught this mistake they were closing. The Mckenna store also called to tell me that since I called the wrong one that they were canceling my order. I’m just done! I give up on trying to get food from either Varsity. I will just stick to a legitimate pizza place!
