This has to be the worst place to close a transaction.
I have been a very active real estate investor and lender for the last 20 years. I recently had a loan transaction whereby I was the lender, all of my signed documents were delivered on a Monday 10/27/14, with closing funds in their office on Wednesday 10/29/14, closing scheduled for 10/31/14. The borrower was not contacted until Thursday afternoon 10/30 to schedule a signing. The delay was so long that the transaction was unable to close on Friday 10/31/14, I now have a substantial loss of interest income caused by TICOR's lack of urgency to get this simple task done on time. Furthermore the attitude of the LPO, Heather Davidson suggests that she has no comprehension as to why this was even important.
I would never return here even if the service was free. I am still waiting for a response as to my financial losses for this incompetence. There are plenty of other title offices that take these matters seriously, I will never return and encourage others to consider other options.
