I have to say I was really excited for my teenage boys to do something positive! But unfortunately circumstances caused one of my sons to not be able to participate any longer only within 2 short weeks of signing year long contract. What I didn't realize and they do NOT make known to you at the time is there is absolutely nothing you can do to get out if the year long contract. You can be sick and be stationed somewhere or something in life happens as it does to us all and he will still hold you to the contract. I offered for him to keep my money, I even offered to do a buy out or something! He has been difficult the entire time, not to mention as the mom makes me feel inferior or as more of an irritant than a paying member. For 5 Months I have been paying him for 2 kids each month when only one is going. I have a boy in my guardianship now who lives with us and he will not allow him to take his place either....even though I pay! Every month! He wants easy money. I have never seen a display of what my other son has learned. He has never competed in even been talk to about it. BEWARE parents in particular, do not sign a year contract ever! And beke me when I tell you you are wasting your time. It's not what you think you are signing your kids up for. I suppose I was the fool taken adv of.
