Sylvia took my son off of one of his medications ( she claimed it caused high cholesterol) without replacing it, and was expecting him to wait over a month for his next appointment without a new med. She did state she wanted to start him on Abilify. When he started having adverse affects from not being the old med or a replacement medication, I called them to see what could be done. I made several calls and left at least two messages explaining what was going on with him, yet I never received a return call ( my son signed a release for me). I finally had to go to our family Doctor and have her give him the replacement medicine. He started doing better within a short time of being on the new med. When I went to his appointment today (10/17/17), I let them know this was not acceptable!! Sylvia explained that they serve a lot of people and this was the best they can do!!! THERE BEST....I would hate to see their worst. I was told if we were not happy that we could go somewhere else!! She then refused to write a new prescription for the medication she said she would start him on (it was Abilify, and was the prescription I had to get from our family Doctor prior to this appointment to stabilize him). Right there tells me they are only in it for the money part and not for their patients. Sylvia also said her office sent lab results that she had ordered to our Primary Doctor, but our Primary said they were not received. I am livid!!! My child did not deserve this horrible service!!! I will try to report this!! I asked Sylvia who I could speak to to register a complaint and I was told by Doctor Sylvia that there was nobody to report this to, because they are independent. Watch me!!!! I will write Councilman Rick Talbert who fights for Mental Illness, the State of Washington and or anyone else that can help stops this type of treatment to those with mental health issues. I will continue to fight this!! I for one WILL NOT let this be there BEST!!! I will do MY BEST to make sure NOBODY is treated this way. People with mental Illnesses do not deserve neglect!!
