The SAL is utilized by Evergreen programs, as well as for extracurricular events like Farm to Table Dinners, the annual Harvest Festival, club meetings, and public workshops. It's a well-equipped certified kitchen and the Organic Farming Program, as well as other food and agriculture programs and clubs (such as the Permaculture Club and the Herbal Medicine Club), use the cooking lab kits to make value-added products such as fresh berry preserves, tinctures, syrups and to host tasting labs as part of food and agriculture studies at the college.
