390 acre county park tucked away (hidden?) in Maple Valley. It's essentially a patch of forest between the small Spring Lake and the even smaller Lake Desire. It's not spectacular or anything but it's a nice place for a woodsy walk. We went on a Friday in March and saw no one else on the trails. There are various access points, each with some parking nearby. The trails can be confusing, with charming signs denoting mileage down to the hundredths but which do not have maps on them and are not at all the intersections. Download a map before you go or take a picture of the map at the parking area. The nicest trail is probably the 3 Lake Loop, which has a spur to the tiny Shady Lake. The trails are clearly regularly used by horses and mountain bikers and are probably muddy in winter. Dogs allowed on leash. No restrooms or water. Park is closed during nighttime hours.
