Would buy again. I bought a used Volvo 850 Turbo wagon from Sid about 3 years ago. I have driven the car every day in those 3 years. It has been my only car. It was a high mileage car when I bought it from Sid but it runs great and has given me very few problems. I eventually replaced the fuel pump, the brake pads and the automatic window up/down switches. Just some basic maintenance items for any car with over 165K miles. They didn't cost much. Before I bought the car Sid was very patient with me and let me test drive the car not once... but twice. And I drove it a ways too, by myself, across the bridge into Marysville and back. Sid did not say anything about me being gone so long and did not ask me where I went. I would have no problem buying another car from Sid. In fact, I nearly have a couple of times. I'm not sure why the other poster (yurbeeswax) had a lousy experience at Sid's. I can't imagine many owners yelling and cursing at a customer unless that customer was very rude. I also told Sid that I did not want to pay as much as he was asking but I was polite about it. He did not get mad. He just said my offer would not make financial sense for him. His honestly was refreshing and I bought the car for his asking price. At the last minute I told him I wanted a new windshield (and thought for sure he would say no) but he did not object and installed a new windshield the very next day at no charge.
