We loved our stay! We knew we'd be happy here as we are familiar and happy with the sister properties with the same ownervs. The renovations are wonderful, they have made some slight updates but did a great job keeping the beautiful character of this 100+ year old hotel. Contemporary amenities and rich history are hard to find in one place! The included European breakfast was delicious and filling, just the right amount for starting a day at the beach. We also were happy to enjoy a drink from the cozy pub and take advantage of the shuffleboard table, it made for a fun and memorable night. They also have a billiard table.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clear they enjoyed their work and that made our stay better. They were happy about the new ownership of the hotel and eager to hear and discuss how we were enjoying our stay. They seem genuinely proud of the property.
We also appreciate the owner's dedication to being environmentally and socially responsible. A clear and conscious decision to limit waste and use locally, responsibly sourced products and ensure their staff earn a good living wage.
