More than 5 star service!!!!! Excellent experience with Carl's towing.
Ventured from Mississippi to Washington State to pick up a travel trailer. Truck (f250 extended cab longbed) problems let me by the side of the road at 7pm Friday night before the long weekend.
I believe Carl himself, showed up in a reasonable time given a rainy Friday night. Very nice and clean tow truck capable of handling my vehicle.
Hooked up and towed me to a local autozone just at closing. Got the part and he dropped me in an area that I could change the part. Charge was reasonable. He asked if I needed any more help I said no so he left.
Fixed the part started the truck then I had to shut down again to align the belt. Went to restart no GO! Tried numerous fixes but still no go so approaching midnight I called him again. Although he said he was about 45 min away it did not take him that long.
NOW THE MORE THAN 5 STAR SERVICE
Remember this is past Friday midnight in the rain...
Tried a jumper boost still no go. Since my truck is manual he hooked up and we bump started it. Great! He then insisted I shut it off again and retry, no go! With my permission he gets a hammer, gets on his hands and knees in the rain and taps on the starter while I engage and away it goes. Corroded connections is the problem.
All this effort and troubleshooting NO CHARGE!!! WoW!!!
I wanted an adventure across the USA but didn't want a break down adventure. What a great service by Carl's towing!!!
BTW: It has started with a touch of the key every time since I returned home but the terminals will get cleaned...
