This is a very busy county campground that sometimes fills to capacity. Reservations should be made in advance online. The site is popular with kayakers and whale watchers who come to get a glimpse of the Orcas and Humpback Whales that frequently pass within view. The bathroom facilities are unfortunately outdated and barely able to handle the crowds of campers on busy days. Not all campsites are level. Drinking water is available. Don't forget to bring your binoculars.
