Every time I walk into the Rob Schouten Gallery at Greenbank Farm, my senses are heightened. The combination of natural light, color and excellent art makes the artistic experience of walking through this gallery a particularly pleasurable one. In addition to the exquisite stable of artists shown there, the owners have created a space that's inviting and stimulating; a place where you can feel relaxed and soak up some that good karma they've got going on there. In addition to the work of Rob Schouten, an outstanding technician who paints spiritually-enlightened canvases in the magic-realism style, the gallery also carries the work of the great painter Anne Belov, the gorgeous sculptures of Sharon Spencer, and some of the most beautiful glass art this side of Murano, Italy with the work of Rob Adamson and Jan Swalwell, as well as Katrina Hude. There are so many good artists shown at this gallery; too many to list here, so if you get a chance to visit the island, make a point of coming up to the farm to check out Rob Schouten Gallery, it's really worth the trip!
