Petco Animal Supplies

I've been going to Petco Grooming in Issaquah, Sammamish and Redmond for 6 years with our Sheltie, but won't be going back to Redmond after my last experience. First groomer's opinion made me feel neglectful in grooming my dog, made me feel as tho I was lying about how my long haired dog sheds and matter of factly stated that she would have to shave the back of my dogs legs because of the matting. We have never had to do such a thing. The groomer got a second opinion, who agreed with shaving, and when I flatly said, no you will not shave my dog, a third opinion came around. She said they could groom him without shaving but slyly over charged me for deshedding without asking me if I wanted a deep deshedding. The paperwork said large/giant dog for a medium sized Sheltie, and when my husband asked about it they admitted that yes our dog is medium but they had to do a deep de-furring. Shame on them for not being transparent.
