Dr.Brettell was the first neurologist I ever had and she was in fact the one who finally gave me the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. She knew the moment she told me the words "you have MS" would live at the forefront of my memory- and she was right. She was loving, professional, kind, compassionate and very emphatic. In the 10 years since my diagnosis I have met with many other neurologists...some so popular that almost a year wait was typical just to see them. None of them even came close to Dr. Brettell- and that is why although I live in Seattle I'm willing to make the very long journey to Skagit to see her.
Dr. Brettell is beyond wonderful. She takes the time to get to know you, she relates to each patient as though each one of us are her own family, and she genuinely authentically cares. She's the best hands down.
