Broke my leg and waited hours to be seen by a doctor. Took the staff a while to give me anything for my pain. After seeing the doctor the staff had to adjust my leg into a splint- they didn’t wait for the painkillers to kick in and so I screamed in agony. The doctor heard me and finally asked if I needed anything while they were adjusting my leg (when they were finished). They decided to keep me overnight and do surgery the next day. So they moved me into a room. I had to urinate so one of the night nurses handed me the pan asked if I needed help and I said I’d be ok so she left. When I was done I pulled the pan out and spilled some urine underneath me. So I pressed the call button, waited, pressed it again, waited some more (I didn’t want to be pushy). Then I tried it a third time and I am pretty sure they turned off my call button. I could hear them chatting out at the desk so I knew someone was there. About a half an hour later a nurse called and asked what I wanted. I told her a bout the urine and she finally came to change the pad. I sat and stewed in my own urine and the only pair of underwear I owned got soaked! I felt like they don’t care. For the amount of money I have to pay to go there I should be treated with some decency. The next day I was scheduled for surgery. When they wheeled me to the surgery room they couldn’t find my scheduled anesthesiologist. So another one came. She asked if I was another patient and I said no. So she said, oh you are the one with the fracture and I was a little skeptical of her knowledge of my problem because she didn’t know who I was. I said I have a BROKEN leg. She responds by saying “Around here we use MEDICAL terms for things so it’s a fracture” but she said it in a condescending way. I was terrified to go into surgery and this woman was talking down to me! Overall I wouldn’t recommend going here.
