If you gathered together just about every individual who has worked here the product would sound like an angry mob. The staff at Mountain Lodge Farm is transient for a reason. True livestock farmers work hard because they are passionate about the work and feel that they are making a difference in their community (e.g. giving the animals a full life and providing people with nourishing food.) When the people taking care of the animals are mistreated no one benefits, and especially not the goats! Working-class Eatonville locals and the small town Co-Op won't even have anything to do with them directly because of this fact. The "behind the scenes" truth of this farm is ugly and I encourage everyone to vote with their dollar (though this "farm" only exists and will continue to because its owners are severely otherwise wealthy.) This is the hard truth. At Mountain Lodge you'll find a gentrified farm, adorable goat kids and an exploited staff.
