Mint Salon

Staff was friendly, salon was nice..I was very specific about the length and the style - I brought in a photo that showed the length below the shoulders about three inches. I only wanted this style because it was a longer style. I went with my hair to the middle of my back. It is now just at my shoulders, So the style doesn't look the same at all - and I know my hair can do this style because its they way I wore it for years - I wasn't asking for something my hair can't do. I am now so upset - my curly hair will now be almost impossible to manage without flat ironing everyday - which I explained if it was too short it would be too unruly and too much work - and I now despise how I look. I wanted to cry all day. I won't be going back. If your stylist can't follow simple instructions, what's the point? I am sick of stylists wacking off hair shorter than requested.

I am so excited there is finally an Aveda salon in Issaquah! I recently saw Mint Salon when I went to Jak's for dinner (it is right near it on Sunset) and decided to try it out because I am a huge Aveda fan. My haircut and color are awesome, and everyone who works there is really nice. I highly recommend it!
