Merrill Gardens at Tacoma

Surprised to find there are not more reviews for Tacoma's Merrill Gardens, but I will testify that our Mom is approaching 90, and has spent the past three years at Merrill Gardens and claims her (independent living) lifestyle is like living on an elegant cruise ship that happens to remain in port forever.... wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful accommodations, and a wealth of activities, concerts, varied events. She does take note that her happiness is largely because she has the support of family that provide regular visits, and that is an element that is impossible for any senior living center to provide... but for us (Mom's family) Merrill Gardens provides us the freedom and comfort to know Mom is within a caring and very well managed facility that provides a wonderful home for Mom between our weekly visits.
