Larry's Smokehouse

Went there a few days ago and was sorely disappointed with the quality their beef brisket, pulled pork, and smoked salmon. Their "beef brisket" looks and tastes like Arby's roast beef. I doubt they are using actual brisket but it's hard to tell because it's so thinly sliced. The pork is dry and bland with a strange taste that doesn't bring pork to mind. Even with their sauce, it's not enough to cover the strange taste of their pork. The only halfway palletable item was the smoked salmon, and even that seemed barely smoked. Their BBQ sauce wasn't very good either. I've made better BBQ sauce following randomly googled BBQ recipes. This place doesn't even come close to Moose Creek BBQ in Arlington. Heck, Dick's BBQ is better than this place. I haven't even been to J and L BBQ yet but at least you can tell by the online pictures of their brisket that they give you nice thick cuts of actual beef brisket like a BBQ place is supposed to serve.
