Love this park. Two decks: an upper park with a soccer field and track, and a lower park with playground, covered picnic tables, grassy berms, and pleasant natural landscaping. The two are linked by a wheelchair-accessible ramp, and the "Union Hill Steps," which pay homage to the location's history as the place where Bremerton and the town of Charleston (now incorporated into Bremerton) met. On clear days there are views of the Sound to the east and the Olympics to the West, with the Seqoias and Catholic church giving interest to the horizon even in poor weather. This park, along with Veneta Avenue and its Giant Sequoias, forms the backbone of Union Hill neighborhood.
A decent park to take kids and dogs. There is a big toy, a covered picnic area and a soccer field.
