We were put on hold 3 times when trying to order our food to be picked up. The person who answered had no idea what kind of food was on the menu. When we came to pick it up, turns out the prices on the website were actually less than the actual price which the person over the phone neglected to mention. Ended up spending $76 for two steaks that we asked for cooked medium rare as well as a potato and fries on the side. All of them were cold, soggy, and definitely not cooked even close to how we asked. Tasted like cardboard. I called and spoke with a manager named will, just trying to get my money back or to at least have something done. He seemed unhappy right off the bat, then proceeded to do absolutely nothing about it and said he would “get back to us”. Also mentioned that they take it “very seriously”. However, I think you will find better service and quality of food at absolutely any other restaurant. Probably even fast food. I understand it’s difficult to manage a restaurant and the food cooked there doesn’t always come out the right way. I would just hope that almost a 4 or 5 star restaurant would at least acknowledge and try to fix their mistake. I have never had such poor service from any restaurant I have been to, and I would have expected more from The Keg. Ive even been there prior and had somewhat good experiences. But with the price you pay, it was most definitely not worth $76 for cardboard. Good luck to anyone who eats here!
