Jiffy Lube

Customer service was excellent! It was fast and educational as well. I felt the customer service from James was above and beyond the call of duty.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE To make a long story short: Took my car here once to get my oil changed, not only did they not top off any of my other fluids like they were supposed to but they also tore my air intake tube during the service and refuse to replace it or refund the service claiming that its "normal wear and tear" My first and only time going here was about 6 months ago to get my routine oil change. At first I thought that my experience wouldn't be any different from the previous jiffy lubes I've been to (I've only taken my car to jiffy lube to get my oil changed since I bought it 5 years ago) but I found out after the fact that this was not the case. Within 24 hours of getting my oil changed here my check engine light came on, seeing as I was traveling to Canada for the weekend I had to wait until I got back on the following monday to take it back to them to see what was going on. The mechanic I talked to when I took it back ran the code and said that it had something to do with my air intake and that it wasn't something they could fix but it also wasn't anything to worry about. The guy never once looked under my hood to actually see where the problem was coming from and wouldn't do anything for me. So I ended up driving around with my check engine light on for the last 6 months because I was told it wasn't a big deal and between work and school I didn't have the time to try to find a mechanic that could actually fix whatever was going on. Finally, yesterday I went into the Jiffy Lube down in Lacey because it was time to get my oil changed again and I mentioned the problems I had been having with my previous experience and lo and behold they quite easily found that my air intake tube had a GIANT tear in it from when I took my car into the Tacoma location. Of course the Lacey location couldn't do anything about it, which I completely understand, but they did help me find the part online and suggested that I go back to Tacoma to at least get them to pay for the part that they damaged, but unfortunately the mechanic that we talked to when we went back to Tacoma wanted to argue with us and claimed that my air intake being torn by their mechanics was "normal wear and tear" and refused to refund us any money or do anything about it.
