Jewel Box Cafe

I used to go to this place all the time when I lived closer, and stopped by again recently. The environment is extremely cool, and the drinks and crepes are pretty good too. The service is friendly but a bit disorganized. I'm glad to see the have plenty of outdoor seating now, as it tended to be hard to find seats inside. Worth a visit if you're in the area and like funky coffee shops. If want a crepe, I recommend the mixed berries.

The jewel box has become the place to get coffee for me. The selection of food and drinks is very large and everything I’ve had there has been very good to delicious. Staff is very friendly, even during rushes. The decor is actually the best I’ve seen in a cafe in years, a fusion of industrial notes mixed with Victorian era lounge furniture and locally sourced art which is switched every month or so and is even for sale if you see a piece you like. The space can feel somewhat cramped and traffic flow can suffer because of that, which is the main improvement I would suggest to the owners but solid 4/5 stars from me.
