Getting a good teacher is hit or miss. My daughters second grade teacher amazing she challenged my daughter and her classmates. My kid came home with different homework assignment every day and required reading. All my daughter talked about was her teacher and how she loved what she was learning something new everyday.
This year in third grade I have to shake my head. My daughter was doing SAT spelling words last year this year she as ask her teacher for harder spelling word. She was given two extra words words and a response that the teachers easing the kids into the school year. This year for homework she gets a sheet of paper to do for the week but at least still getting required reading assignment. She's bored in her class.
My daughter is losing her spark and the excitement she had last year about school. By the way good luck with the admin.
