Heaven Sent Fried Chicken

Not good. The chicken was chewy and dried out from sitting under a heat lamp for way too long. The fries looked and tasted like bulk crinkle cut freezer fries. The mashed potatoes were pasty and grainy. Potato Salad tasted ok, but had the same gummy grainy texture as the mashed potatoes. The interior was filthy. The dining room floor was sticky and almost every table had some kind of gross smudge or trash. On top of everything, 2 kids meals, 2 meals for adults was 40$+ dollars. Whatever magic this place once had is gone.

I've been coming Ezell's and now here since I was little, and the food has always been fantastic. Reading the other reviews, I couldn't believe some of the negative responses. Every time I come in I get some incredible chicken strips, and great bread pudding. The chicken is always moist, with a soft, yet crunchy breading. And the rolls are fluffy and sweet. This is a wonderful place for chicken, and I can confidently write that you will love the chicken strips!
