Geek Squad

I had a complex issue regarding the uninstall and reinstall of software from a dvd. This is a special program created for a classroom environment. Once the program is used it needs to be freashly reinstated to function. I had uninstalled and reinstalled several times and couldn’t get it operable. I didn’t understand why. I thought I had checked everything, and it should’ve been operating successfully. I took it into my neighborhood Best Buy, to the geek squad. A gentleman named Baron assisted me. He didn’t understand why it wasn’t installing properly either (which was reassuring in a way). He found a hidden file that “kept” the previous Tracking progress. The program wasn’t downloading the tracking because it could see the hidden file. Baron saved the day! More than this, I was able to provide feedback to coworkers concerning this issue. This young man is not only a fabulous geek, he is kind and patient. I am super happy with my geek experience and I am now a geek believer. This young man deserves a raise. I will be taking my tech issues to the geek squad earlier in the game next time around. Thank you Baron!
