This is hands down the worst church I've ever attended. My fiancé at the time had been a long time member and wanted me to consider going so we could go together. I was skeptical due to seeing photos of this pastor on FB next to Seahawks cheerleaders, wearing what cheerleaders wear. I thought it was poor judgement on a pastors part, I wouldn't expect to see a nun next to a half naked man, so the standard should be held universal. I get that it was at a Super Bowl party, but at some point it's necessary to make the distinction for the sake of tact to decide are you a fan first or are you a pastor, you can be a fan without pics with cheerleaders with cameltoe and their breast out, but I gave Faith Heritage a chance when he asked me to go. The pastor made zero effort to greet me on my first visit, while standing right next to him. After a super long, drawn out four hour service, which did not even remotely start on time, that consisted of more praise and worship than actual sound doctrine. There's nothing wrong with praise and worship, but what about the word? The songs were upbeat, however it felt more like a concert than a church service. Pastor Solomon was unorganized, unprepared and extremely hard to follow. He screamed through most of his sermon and the remainder of the time his words were unintelligible and he would just **Insert Jesus Here** as a filler to scream out when he couldn't find the words. The female members of the congregation being lead by the "First Lady" the pastors wife as Queen Bee, are very tight to the extreme of acting basic, petty and childish as though they are a high school clique. The mentality of "you can't sit with us" is laughable at best. Who has time for that, yet in order to fit in many follow, just check out their Facebook page. The purpose of leaders from my understanding was to produce more leaders, not followers. There's a distinction in followers of faith and followers for approval. The self-righteousness flows thick with this bunch, the church as a whole was unkind, unforgiving and full of hypocrites standing behind the facade of acceptance to all, love and forgiveness, while judging and disapproving any outsiders or those they don't approve of. The church makes you feel as though it's "their house" you are trying to enter, unwelcoming with something to prove and not a house of God. I'll pass, as this church needs to take several seats and remember to practice what they preach. Beware wolves in sheep's clothing, especially those who write their own reviews. My now husband and I have since found another church. Wishing Faith Heritage many blessings and prayers, but it wasn't for us, others can decide for themselves.
I must admit that I am biased because this is my church home. But even with that said. I can honestly say here we are more like a family then a church. We just love doing life together. We have a Powerful youth ministry that is growing daily. Providing our youth with real life biblical solutions to REAL life issues. We Absolutely Love to worship Christ. The author of our salvation. The heart of this church is to seek the Glory of the father. We Celebrate Christ here!! #ilovemychurch
