Empire Launderette

It's not a big building, and there's no attendant available on site. It's rundown, the machines are old and shake so much, they're off the foundations! The owner tries to keep up on keeping it clean, but I always find trash, clothes, expired food and many outdated phone books and uncomfortable furniture. There's no change machine, so come prepared. Washers are $1.50, front load washers are $3, dryers are $1.75. I wouldn't recommend the front load washers. Both were shaking and vibrating so much, they looked like they were going to fall off the pedestals. They are both leaky as well. It gets very hot in the summertime, so go early.
