Douglas Property Management will scam you out of your money!!!
When we moved out I have a professional cleaning service clean the house as well as a trash company to pick up all the trash. We turned in key and the staff at the Stonehorse community in Spokane told us we can turn off the electric the day we turned in key because we fulfilled the lease so we did.
I get the closing amount from them, they charged us a trash fee of $75 because someone use the back patio (it's an open area so anyone can walk back there) as their personal dog trash area, then they charged us for blinds that where broken that are on the move in sheet (and documented) as well as an air vent, again documented. They took it all out of our deposit.
When I called to speak with Kathy, she would never once let me speak kept interrupting me and stayed it's all in the lease and we were subject to pay. I kept trying to explain to her that these are all documented as well as I am not liable for it. She hung up on me not once but over 6 times and refuses to speak to me! Even the reception staff hangs up.
I have all the proof that they owe us money and yet they refuse to even listen.
