Dr. Swift is thorough and doesn't mind taking time with his patients. Like most doctors he has a busy schedule, but he always seems to take the time to ask about family and to get to know his patients.
I appreciate his treatment philosophy - as I understand it (in my experience) he has a heavy focus on becoming and being healthy through proper diet and exercise. This may seem common, but I don't believe that's the case. I had high cholesterol and my wife was pregnant at the time when I had my initial consultation with Dr. Swift. My former Dr. (I switched for insurance reasons and am glad I did) never even mentioned my cholesterol levels. I have more than a few friends/relatives with cholesterol issues, and they are all on medication for it and the typical consensus is that diet and well being doesn't come before the medication talk. Dr. Swift urged me to get healthy and let my cholesterol numbers come back into line on their own. I took his advice to begin eating properly (such as the Eat to Live type of diet) and within 2 months my cholesterol was in great shape and I was down 20 pounds. I am now down 30 pounds and very healthy. This would not be the case had I not switched to this office.
I recommend Dr. Swift wholeheartedly, and have done so on multiple occasions.
