Have been living here for about a year and a half. Since they changed the staff more things have been getting done, I have a long list of complains. One is that they keep wanting to enter everyone's apartments very often to "check" on stuff. Today's is inventory of appliances. Can't they wait till people move out to check their inventory? Or if they're actually going to replace things which I highly doubt because I have been complaining about the stove, about 4 times now, because the large burner does not work, sometimes it turns on and when I put the pot on top it stops heating, I'm not going to be adjusting the stove every time I move the pot a tiny bit. Have had "maintanace" come and try to adjust it all they do it push in the burner and say "see it's not broken" Also have complained about the fridge. Makes extremely loud noises. Even the maintenance guy says it does but that the owners are too greedy and are only replacing appliances in the new apartments that are. Being remodeled. Another things is monthly fees. Since they changed ownership they have been charging us way more for sewer, water, garbage and now another fee which I was told was to keep the apartments looking nice.... I DONT WANT THE OUTSIDE TO LOOK NICE WHY DONT YOU FIX WHAT IVE BEEN ASKING YOU TO FIX. NOT TO MENTION ALL THE MOLD!!!! The windows leak. And water runs from my wall there is mold growing in the corners of my bedroom. They have sent guys to "fix it" all they do is just wipe it down. They keep saying it's from condensation because I breathe and what not. I went to college here and took science classes. Not to mention I learned what condensation was in 5th grade... you're not fooling anybody. My boyfriend works in construction. The windows are not sealed properly on top of the fact that they're extremely old. I have pictures to prove this. Water FILLS the window rails ONLYYY when it's raining, sometimes the water overflows and drips down the wall. Yes I can do that but I'm only making it look pretty. Plus I believe I'm paying enough for these apartments being in the area that they are (with druggies outside) not to mention all the crime, for them to not fix any of the problems we encountered since moving here. Since I started living here I have had health issues and this comes from a person who does not have allergies of any sort. Since I've been here have been sneezing running a lot of fevers.... because of the mold... thinking about taking legal action. Also was on the news, but a child drowned in the pool because there was no life guard on duty. Thank god the maintenance guy found him. But it's a complete IRRESPONSABILITY that the apartment managers and owners have no way to see the pool at all times. Specially when they KNOW that it's mostly only children that use it. If you think rent is cheap, don't forget about the parking (which is a total nightmare people park in the middle of the street) you're going to get charged more that what should be charged in utilities, including a $25 charge which is not specified which I stated before they told me it was to fix the outside. Since they changed owners they're tying to fix the outside they made a grilling place, and fire pit. Updated the gym. But NOBODY uses them. They should of worried about people's living places before they try to upgrade their curve appeal to pull in more victims. Specially if they're already charging us. The list keeps going! Problems with the garbage, they need more garbage containers there is only ONE it gets full and there is garbage out to the street then they have the audacity to blame the tenants. Lmao what a joke. So in conclusion don't rent here. Find a place where all charges will be stated more clear. A place that does not have mold unless you want to develop a couple of diseases. And a place where it actually cares about the people living here not just about their money and new ways to f* them over. RANT DONE
