This trailhead gives a variety of choices. Go to the gorge or to the river or to a variety of lakes. Good early spring hiking/ hbr/ camping....watch for snakes in warm weather. I haven't seen any in the 10+ time I've been there. One guy said late May thru August is rattlesnake season.
