If you are closing an hour earlier than posted on the internet, instead greeting us with "you have ten minutes", why not try something like "we close at 8 tonight and the kitchen is closing but we can still serve you a beer". And skip dubious comments such as "the boss is here so we have to close" and that your summer hours are shorter than you winter hours.
